At AIIM, multiple teaching methods like case analysis, group projects, business simulation games, assignments form the core of the learning process.A series of programmes with the help of internal and external experts are periodically conducted to develop and sharpen skills in communication, inter-personal relations, analytical ability, proficiency in public speaking, assertiveness, self-confidence, interview techniques & a variety of otherskills that are essential for a manager.

The pedagogy mix lays emphasis on Industry visit, Live Project studies, Business Games, Simulations, Case Studies, Interactions with Experts, Seminars, Presentations, Role Plays and Debates.
These activities help improve the communication skills, increases confidence levels, resulting in enhancing a student’s personality.
Communication Skills Lab
Skills in spoken and written English are a prerequisite to successful completion of high quality education and placements. Though this looks easy it requires a lot of training to achieve this ostensibly simple skill. AIIM helps students achieve the same by improving their spoken and written English skills. With practical, interactive and easy-to-learn manner sessions, students’ ability to communicate in globally accepted businessEnglish is sharpened.
Seminars & Workshops
The course includes a series of workshops and orientation programmes to enhance the knowledge base and the communication capabilities of students . Leading Corporate honchos, academicians, eminent personalities engaged in Finance, Marketing, HR and General Management are invited regularly to participate in seminar / panel discussions. These forums provide critical insights into the working of a business organization. Industry visits are organized for additional exposure.
The curriculum is designed by the professionals of these organizations according to their planned recruitments for the coming years. Since most professionals come with years of delivery experience the curriculum designed encompass inputs from most of the rated organization in all diverse fields, from recruitment and training point of view.
More emphasis is given to assignment and project than classroom teaching.
Classroom lecture emphasizes more on basic skills enhancement and explaining the application that uses those concepts.
Live Assignments: While in-class learning strengthens conceptual knowledge, practical learning equips students with the aptitude to work effectively. Students are required to take up live projects from industry.
Case Study Approach: At AIIM, besides regular lectures and interactive sessions, case studies are used as a powerful tool in the learning process. This gives students the opportunity to study real life scenarios and equips themselves to handle situations that they have learnt in their regular curriculum.
Group Discussions: Discussing ideas in a group is one of the best ways to solve the problem and find valuable solutions to business issues. It is imperative to provide an open forum for discussion where students feel comfortable sharing their ideas.
Yoga and Meditation games and recreationGroup Projects: Students are required to take up live projects from industry. They analyze business issues, learn to develop options and in the process they develop action plans, professional attitude, skills and discipline. This is facilitated through groups of students coming together for research, analysis of issues, presentations, corporate visits etc. This equips the students to handle group dynamics and inter-personal relationships effectively.
Business Simulation Games: Business games, simulations, role plays etc. form integral part of AIIM s curriculum. This makes students more competent and confident to handle similar situations in the competitive business situations.
Events and Programmes: The institute has several events that are totally managed by the students. This gives them experience in planning and managing events.
